Consultation on proposed Initiative on Sustainable Corporate Governance

FFI supports making due diligence a legal requirement

  • Sustainable corporate governance measures should be taken on the EU level, not nationally, to ensure a level playing field.
  • We support laying down a due diligence principle in EU legislation.
  • Corporate governance and remuneration should be left for shareholders to decide, and regulation should not intervene in companies’ internal affairs.
